Who would you write to today?

Someone came to mind.

Begin with the person, moment, or feeling that brought you here.

Parents

Give Mom or Dad the gratitude, memories, or love that everyday life leaves unsaid.

Grandparents

Send them words they can reread and keep close whenever they miss you.

Your Partner

Say “I love you,” “I miss you,” or “I am sorry” without rushing the moment.

Someone Far Away

Send something real across the distance when a screen does not feel like enough.

A Milestone

Mark a birthday, graduation, anniversary, or new chapter with lasting words.

Encouragement & Support

Offer comfort, hope, sympathy, or strength during a difficult season.

Every letter has a story

Words can celebrate, comfort, reconnect, and endure.

A Spoken Letter begins with what matters—not with stationery, postage, or perfect phrasing.

01

Grandparents

A voice they recognize in every line.

Share daily moments, family memories, gratitude, or questions that invite their stories to live on.

02

Romance

Love deserves more than a disappearing notification.

Celebrate an anniversary, survive the distance, or say the tender thing without rushing it.

03

Long Distance

Something real to bridge the miles.

Give someone far away a tangible reminder that they remain close to your life.

04

Encouragement

Hope can arrive inside an envelope.

Send strength during recovery, deployment, grief, school, or a difficult season.

05

Legacy Letters

Preserve more than photographs.

Save your stories, lessons, humor, and love for the people who will carry them forward.

06

Reconnection or Apologies

Give difficult words the care they deserve.

Take responsibility, explain honestly, and open a door without demanding what comes next.

07

Just Because

No occasion is required to make someone feel remembered.

Turn “I was thinking about you” into something they can hold onto and read again.

You bring the words

We handle everything else.

No printer. No stamps. No stationery. No envelopes. No transportation. No nearby mailbox. No post-office trip. No need for perfect penmanship.

You speak or type and choose how you want the wording handled. Once the wording is final—either exactly as submitted or after your approval—we provide premium letter paper, your selected envelope, pen-and-ink production in your selected handwriting style, a wax-seal finish, addressing, mailing, and an optional online reply code.

01
Speak or type

Share your message naturally in your own words.

02
Choose how we handle your words

Keep your wording exactly as submitted, or ask us to help polish it while preserving your meaning and voice.

03
Approve it when needed

If you choose help polishing, review and approve the final wording before preparation.

04
We produce, seal and mail

We put the finalized wording on physical paper in your selected handwriting style, prepare the envelope, and mail the finished letter for you.

Made for real life

Meaningful mail should still be possible when mailing is difficult.

Spoken Letters helps people stay connected from wherever life has placed them.

Arthritis or hand pain

Speak your message instead of struggling to write it yourself.

Limited mobility

Create real mail without driving, standing in line, or leaving home.

Busy families

Turn the words you keep meaning to send into a finished letter.

Caregivers

Stay emotionally present even when time and energy are stretched thin.

Far from postal services

No nearby post office, printer, stationery drawer, or stamp supply is required.

Military deployment

Send home, familiarity, and encouragement across the distance.

Hospital recovery

Keep relationships close during recovery or an extended stay at home.

Older adults and grandparents

Speak or type a meaningful message without gathering supplies or making a postal trip.

People without transportation

Create and mail a real letter without needing a ride or leaving home.

Deployed service members

Send familiar words, family stories, and encouragement across the distance.

Legacy letters

Leave more than memories.

Photos show what life looked like. Letters preserve how you spoke, what you believed, the stories you told, and the love you wanted your family to carry.

Write for a future birthday, graduation, wedding, new child, or an ordinary day years from now. Preserve family stories, advice, humor, memories, values, milestone messages, and “Open this when you miss me” words. A legacy letter is not about saying goodbye. It is about making sure the best parts of you remain easy to find.

Years from now, even after its writer is gone, the letter may remain a treasured family keepsake.

A premium experience

Made to feel special before the first word is read.

Every visible detail supports the feeling behind the message.

Once your wording is final, the message is physically produced in pen and ink on premium paper using the handwriting style you selected. We place it in your selected envelope, add the wax-seal finish, address it, and mail it through USPS. The Letter + Reply Included option also adds a reply-code card so the recipient can respond online.

About our handwriting styles

A real physical letter, with the writing style you choose.

“Handwriting style” describes the appearance of the lettering you select. Your finalized message is physically produced in pen and ink on paper using that style. Spoken Letters does not represent each letter as freehand handwriting by a specific person.

Made for one person

Not a campaign. A message meant for someone.

Spoken Letters is built for the moments when one person matters more than a mailing list.

Love & connection

For someone you care about.

Tell a parent, grandparent, partner, friend, or someone far away what they mean to you in a form they can open, hold, and keep.

Hard words

For the things that are difficult to say.

Apologies, reconciliation, gratitude, sympathy, encouragement, and other meaningful words deserve more care than a hurried text.

Worth keeping

For words that should outlast the moment.

Mark a milestone, preserve a family story, celebrate a life event, or simply give someone something personal they may still have years from now.

How does Spoken Letters work?

Create an account, speak or type your message, enter the recipient’s mailing address, choose a letter option, and decide whether to use your words exactly or get help polishing them. If you choose polishing, you approve the final wording before preparation. Exact-wording orders keep the message you submitted.

Can I speak instead of typing?

Yes. On supported browsers, you can use live voice typing. You can also type directly and edit the message before submitting it.

Can I approve the message before it is written?

Yes. If you choose help polishing your message, your customer dashboard lets you compare the original and polished versions and approve the final wording. If you choose exact wording, the message you submitted is kept unchanged and does not require a separate wording approval.

What does the recipient receive?

The recipient receives a real physical letter on premium paper, produced in the handwriting style you selected, inside your selected addressed envelope with a wax-seal finish. The reply option also includes a reply-code card.

Are the letters handwritten?

Your letter is physically produced in pen and ink on paper using the handwriting style you select. The handwriting-style choices describe the appearance of the lettering. Spoken Letters does not promise that a specific person writes each letter freehand.

Can a recipient reply?

Yes. Choose “Letter + Reply Included” to add a reply code that the recipient can use to submit an online response.

Can a letter be anonymous to the recipient?

Yes. You can choose anonymous-to-recipient delivery. Your name is hidden from the recipient, but Spoken Letters retains order information for safety, support, refunds, and legal compliance. Anonymous letters must follow the acceptable-use policy.

Do I need stamps or access to a post office?

No. Spoken Letters prepares, addresses, seals, and mails the letter for you.

How much does it cost?

The Standard Mailed Letter is $16.99. Letter + Reply Included is $24.99.

Is my message private?

Spoken Letters uses message and order information to provide the service, support the order, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Review the Privacy Policy for the complete current terms.
